eCRP 1.4, Italy’s First Electric Motor

CRP Racing, the company constructor electric-powered vehicles from Italy who stood since 2006 introduced a new electric motor that is eCRP 1.4. Two-wheeled vehicle is claimed as the first electric motor made in Italy.

This motor has a very light weight which is only 350 pounds or about 158 ​​pounds. For power, this motor powered by lithium-polymer battery module is 7.4 kWh and dual DC motor.

Electric motor that can reach speeds of 60 miles per hour (about 96.5 kilometers per hour) in 3.2 seconds. The maximum speed reached 136 miles per hour or about 218 miles per hour.

Motor is also equipped with data recording system that can record information on the front and rear suspension and gas valves, measuring the voltage in and out of the controller, as well as monitoring the temperature level of the vehicle concerned.
The data recorded will then be combined with GPS facility to record the velocity and acceleration directly. This allows the team racing to make a better race strategy.
